What is hemp?
Hemp, also known as industrial hemp, is a botanical class of cannabis sativa. It is grown for both industrial and medicinal use. Unlike the cannabis sativa variety, known commonly as marijuana, hemp is federally regulated to contain only 0.3% THC, the cannabinoid found abundantly in marijuana that is responsible for the ‘high’ or psychoactive effect. At the low level of 0.3% THC content, hemp does not produce a high, although it does have both physical and mental health benefits.
What are cannabinoids?

There are 110+ cannabinoids identified in the hemp plant. Cannabinoids are the key compounds that are attributed to the many health and wellness benefits of hemp.
